STEMVET SCIENCE
REPAIR MAINTANANCE AND RECOVERY
Medivet is currently inviting university researchers and professional veterinarians specializing in the field of equine and bovine breeding who are interested in participating in StemVet Science Repair, Maintenance, Recovery trials involving stem cell activation in animals, using state of the art growth factor and small peptide technology in the following areas:
- Spermatogenisis
- Pulmonary haemorrhage
- Tendon damage repair
- Muscle damage repair
- Laminitis
- Surgery Applications
Current research shows evidence of the ability of adult stem cells to initiate the repair process of parts of damaged lungs in animals; adult stem cells have also been shown to possess the ability to differentiate into the same type of cells as where they exist, namely that adult stem cells differentiating in the lung will become lung tissue.
Medivet intends to focus on Pulmonary Haemorrhage as one of the major areas of research with interested groups, as it affects almost all racing horses.
Interested parties can contact our Breeding Research and Cell Biology Department through email found on our Contacts page.
