Oral decongestant, expectorant for horses
A treatment to assist in the relief of coughing and other clinical indications associated with
respiratory infections in horses.
What is Clear Cough?
Clear Cough has been expressly formulated for the horse’s respiratory system. It has been developed to assist in expectoration of the respiratory tract mucus caused by viral or
bacterial infections in the trachea or lungs.
Why use Clear Cough
Clear Cough may assist in treating most types of respiratory conditions which involve mucus or ‘phlegm, especially coughs and colds.’
How is it administered?
Clear Cough is given orally (by mouth) to the animal in the prescribed dosage or on its feed.
How does it work?
Clear Cough acts to liquefy and release mucus and congestion in the lungs and respiratory tract. The mucus and phlegm are released from the lung cavities and respiratory tract walls, moving to the laryngeal are of the throat where normal breathing and coughing enable the foreign material to be expelled. Clear Cough is all natural and has no harmful side effects.
Treatment with Clear Cough will improve your horse’s comfort and its performance may be improved as a result. Clear Cough may be used whilst in full racing, and as a regular maintenance program. You are advised to check with your local racing authority for any restrictions or withholding guidelines.
Results
The results are clearly evident visible and are attested to by many leading trainers and veterinarians. Treatment with Clear Cough is indicated and suitable for horses of all ages including weanlings, yearlings and adult horses.
Because many horses are not regularly treated for respiratory infections, when your horse comes in contact with them in a shared float, at the racetrack or on the training track, it is at risk of infection. Regular usage and maintenance with Clear Cough will keep you on top of the problem.
Clear Cough may be used even in horses that are showing no signs of respiratory problems. This will help maintain a level of immunity and assist in general health and wellbeing.
Clear Cough is very effective but should you treat your horse with Clear Cough and see no visible signs of mucus expulsion after 6 weeks, your animal will have received benefit from it and no physical damage will have occurred.
Maintenance Program
We recommend that you treat your horse(s) regularly with a maintenance (half) dose to maintain a level of immunity.
Dosage: Horses: 50mL per day for 20 days or as directed by your veterinary surgeon. Clear Cough may be administered by oral syringe

authorities regarding medication should be observed.
